on the day of the walk.
FEES:
Non credit walkers are welcome, but must sign, carry and return a start
card. IVV-AVA fee $3.00.
“B” Awards and hat pins are available.
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: A 10 K walk, rated at level 3 for hills and some unimproved trails. Route includes Happy Valley Park, Happy Valley neighborhoods and green spaces and the natural setting of Scouters Mountain. Not accessible for wheelchairs, nor strollers. This walk will take you through the Scouters Mountain Boy Scout property, as well as near the Chief Obie Lodge, which is currently closed to the public.
The 5 K walk is rated a 1+ and includes the Happy Valley Park, Happy Valley neighborhoods and green spaces. Accessible to strollers.
NOTE: Dogs are NOT allowed on Scouters Mountain, but are welcome on the Happy Valley walk. Dog safety and clean-up rules apply. Hiking shoes are recommended for the 10 K, but are not required.
Although every effort is made to provide a safe and enjoyable event, the
sponsors are not liable for accidents, theft, and/or material damage.
With registration for these events, participants accept the AVA
guidelines and agree to principles of good sportsmanship.

Seasons (Autumn), K-Klubs (ECWW), COW (Oregon).
DIRECTIONS:
From the south on I-205:
Take I-205 Exit 14 (Sunnyside Road). Turn right/going east on Sunnyside.
Just past the
From the north on I-205:
Take I-205 to Foster Rd. exit. On Foster go 3.4 miles to 162nd.
Turn right on 162nd; go 1 mile to Clatsop St.; right on Clatsop St. to
145th; left on 145th; go 1/2 mile to Ridgecrest St.; right on Ridgecrest;
left at Happy Valley Park. Start point at the back of the park.
